Small Community
As the temps drop and days get darker, Pleasant Lake students joined together and created Happy Fall Cards for residents of the Northern Lakes Nursing Home.
The project spearheaded by Media Center specialist Brittany Harrell aims to connect generations, create community spirit and bring some sunshine into the lives of those who may be unable to get out and see the fall colors for themselves.
This is only one of the initiatives Pleasant Lake students will be doing this school year to foster the relationship between students and community members. These projects build the foundation for civic and personal responsibility that will continue to be built upon throughout the years at MSD of Steuben County Schools.
