Pleasant Lake Montessori

Pleasant Lake Montessori students invited local veteran's to breakfast and a special Veterans Day program today. Students sang in their class groups then select students presented original works in solo and small group performances. After the program, students received a special treat when a local veteran brought in MREs for them to explore and even sample firsthand.

The School Smiles Dentist is coming to our School!
All students who have signed up for the program will be seen on October 29th by the dental team. As a reminder, the dental team will set up in the school and see your child during the school day. School Smiles offers an Exam, Cleanings, X-Rays, Fluoride, as well as same day treatment if needed. This treatment can consist of Fillings, Sealants, or SDF. If you are interested in signing up your student to be seen please follow the link to the School Smiles Website at www.schoolsmiles.com/student-signup. For any questions, please call 855-497-6453

We do accept the following insurance plans so that anyone and everyone that wants to signup can and can be seen:
Medicaid: if they have Medicaid it is covered at 100%, the patient is never billed.

Private Insurance: we accept these plans just like any private practice and will coordinate with families to collect co-pay/deductible that apply. Our office handles this.

Self-Pay option: we include the discounted rate of only $49 and includes their cleaning, x-rays, prophy, fluoride and sealants.  It is the parent’s choice to choose this option and we leave it available because we do have some families that prefer to pay vs having the grant option.

Grant Foundation: If the family does not have dental insurance and they check this box then their visit is covered at 100% by our program and they are never billed for any services.  If they don’t have insurance, we do need them to check either the self-pay box or the grant box so that we know how to proceed as we can’t choose for them. A maximum of 10 grant patients can be seen per full visit. Grant funds are also on a first come, first served basis and income verification forms will be required.

REMINDER:
Our PLM Book Fair will be open for parents to shop tonight and tomorrow night (10/6 and 10/7) from 3-5:30pm! Student shopping will take place on Wednesday (10/8) during the school day!

Today (9/26) we are CLOSED due to foggy conditions and will be switching to a Self-Paced E-Learning Day. This means that a Google Slides Assignment will be posted and students will complete the assignment at their own pace and turn it in to be counted as present. Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom by 9am. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions!
